Background and Experience
Mike Cole has a diverse litigation practice, and has handled numerous trials in state and federal courts, both jury trials and bench trials.

Mike has been selected for inclusion in “Alabama Super Lawyers” each year since 2005. Mike has also been selected as one of the "Best Lawyers in America" each year since 2006 in three separate practice areas, namely, governmental relations, healthcare and administrative/regulatory. Mike is AV Preeminent rated (highest rating possible for legal ability and ethical standards) by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mike was born and raised in Athens, Alabama and has continued to practice law at the same location for thirty-nine years. Mike represents individuals and businesses in corporate, commercial, labor and employment, regulatory and civil matters.
Mike serves as an Administrative Law Judge for the State Health and Planning Development Agency and a Hearing Officer for the Alabama State Department of Education.
