Biography:
S. Dagnal Rowe, Jr. is an attorney and shareholder with the firm Wilmer & Lee, and he is a resident attorney in that firm’s Huntsville, Alabama office.
Dag was born and raised in Huntsville. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Virginia in 2004. While in college, Dag became a member of the Jefferson Literary & Debating Society as well as the fraternity of St. Elmo Hall (Delta Phi). He spent his first year of law school at Vanderbilt University, during which he received awards for achieving the highest grade in his Torts and Property classes, before transferring back to the University of Virginia and receiving a Juris Doctor in 2007.
Dag is a seasoned trial lawyer and appellate attorney. His practice focuses on the areas of Commercial Litigation, Corporate Law, Banking Law, Cryptocurrency and Smart Law, Bankruptcy Law and Creditor’s Rights, Commercial Transactions, Estate Planning, Trust Planning, Elder Law, Probate, Trusts and Estate Litigation, and General Civil Litigation. Dag regularly defends businesses and individuals in complex litigation. He has extensive experience in will contests, trust litigation, estate litigation, and litigation involving alleged negligence or misconduct of fiduciaries. He also defends and prosecutes shareholder disputes, corporate governance/derivative litigation, and commercial contract disputes.
Dag is admitted to practice in the State of Alabama, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Association, and the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program.
Dag and his wife, Lauren, have three daughters: Sarah Grace, Alice, and Evelyn.
